In the City of Chicago, 8 transit lines run through its many neighborhoods: the Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, and Yellow. As of today, there are 146 train stations in total. Most Chicagoans have opinions on their favorite trains or which train line they take more than others. But, the stats don't lie! According to the Monthly Ridership Report from June 2019, as prepared by the CTA on July 18th, 2019. There are a couple of train stations that people have visited more often than not.

In no particular order, some of the more popular train stations are:

5. Morgan Green & Pink Line Station

The address to this station is 958 West Lake Street. According to the report, there was an increase of 2.6% in ridership. Originally it was 608,965 then jumped to 624,671. Now it could be because of the dual train line stops at this station or the location of the train stop.

4. California Green Line Station

This station is located at 2800 West Lake Street. Now the ridership for this train stop wasn't as major but there was a change. An increase of 0.3% was noticed from 151,246 riders to 151,772 riders in one year.

3. Grand Blue Line Station

This train stop is on the outskirts of downtown. Kind of like the cart before the horse of downtown. Located at 502 North Milwaukee Ave, this stop also connects to the #8,56,65 and 132 buses. Located near the River West neighborhood, the ridership increased to 2.3%. Starting at 424,519 it went up to 434,206.

2. Addison Blue Line Station

I have used this train station quite a bit. It is located at 3622 West Addison Street near the highway. It connects to the #152 CTA Bus. So if you are a Chicago Cubs fan, you can get off at this stop and take the 152 all the way to Wrigleyfield. There was an increase of 0.6%, with riders totaling at 423,724 then increased to 426,268.

1. Logan Square Blue Line Station

This station is one of the major ones in the city, with an increase of 2.1%, the year started off with 1,104,671 riders and increased to 1,127,659 riders. Located at 2620 North Milwaukee Avenue, this station connects to the #56 and #76 buses and has indoor and sheltered bike parking. It is also home to the Logan Square neighborhood as well. Depending on the neighborhood I do believe that explains its increased ridership.

Below is a Google map with place markers to said train stations listed above.
