For my Chicago residents, I know we have all heard this question before: "Where were you during the blizzard of 2011?!". I was in my junior year of high school when the blizzard hit, from the photo above I want to say this was the aftermath of that treacherous day. My friends and I thought it would be a regular snowfall in February, next thing we knew school was canceled for two days and people's cars were snowed in on Lake Shore Drive. Even though we experienced what was called "Snowmeggedon" we still did not compare to other major cities that experienced snowfall like Chicago. Below is a chart showing the annual snowfall between the years 2008 and 2018:
