The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic was a moment in history that has left its fair share of lasting effects on the whole world. Whether it be physically, emotionally, or mentally, it was a time of uncertainty, fear, political unrest, and civil unrest. It came quickly and the world seemed unprepared, people were getting sick left and right, people were losing their jobs and schools had to close, police brutality was at the forefront once again. Now four years later, things will never "go back to normal" similar to how the world changed after 9/11.

With the world being what it was before 2020, the gravity of the pandemic seemed unreal and was often met with resistance and hostility. Certain people refused to wear masks and social distance and some were unable to remain within their households to avoid spreading the virus. Due to those simple precautions being disregarded the number of cases grew to monumental levels. Below are a few charts detailing several said cases based on the ethnicity of Chicagoans.

STAY SAFE FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!!
