My Story So Far

I would say my story begins in Evanston Hospital but in actuality, my story begins in Rogers Park. I am the middle child with two brothers and I'm the only girl. I was born in April 1994 to my lovely parents. My Mom is originally from Chicago and my dad was originally from Selma, Alabama. I went to Lake View High School in the Fall of 2008. This place would be where I developed my love for anime and comics and also where I would meet my amazing friends. I had gotten a job working for one of Chicago's biggest grocery store chains. On my first attempt at college, I decided I would major in Psychology, unaware of how much school it would entail but I dove in. Instead of going to the college I wanted to go to, I went to North Park University Things didn't work out though and I dropped out after only two years. For the next ten-plus years I just worked, but after a while, I felt like life was passing me by and I wanted to do more I didn't know where to start. Sure I had my friends, family, and a decent job but something was missing. I also needed to get my mental health in check. So I started using a therapy site called BetterHelp. With the help of talk therapy and a new energy for life after 10 years I made the decision to go back to school. My plan was to attend KKC because they offered some type of media and film classes then I would transfer to Columbia College to start my film career. And here I am!
